Think about how long plastic lasts, the litter problem, and the general flow of water within a watershed. Putting those pieces together will help you understand why there is so much plastic in the ocean.
I think it is because some people throw there plastic a the ground not in the trash. So that is why the animals are heart. Because they ether eat or get stuck in the trash.
Hmmm….do you have any thoughts on what might be happening? Is there a particular kind of plastic you are thinking of? are you thinking of the microplastics?
