  • 02/28/2022 - Investigation: If we collect four 64 oz mason jars of snow at the Drinkwater School from the beach, garden, woods, and the tree line near our stream in March, let it melt, and then use a vacuum pump to filter the water and look under the microscope, how many pieces of microplastic fibers and fragments would there be, if any, and how do the four sites compare?

  • 11/03/2020 - Comments: This year, I only have 6-7 kids at a time, which obviously makes the technology management piece much easier! But in some years, I've had 17-22 kids in the room, so have done groups of 2-3 kids.

  • 10/05/2020 - Comments: One thing I've done is to partner students up and only have one log in that day but they both work on what they want to respond to/post, and then the next time the other partner can have a turn.
